Fipto is a B2B cross-border payments platform that enables businesses to send and receive fiat and digital currencies instantly around the world through blockchain rails.

What is the role of a medior developer at Fipto?

As a Back-end Developer, you will be involved in developing our product with the rest of our tech team using agile methodologies.

Golang . AWS . Serverless . PostgreSQL/Aurora. Gitlab . CI/CD Integration  . React/TypeScript

Some of your future responsibilities include:

• Developing new features from scratch
• Collaborating with our product team to identify and discuss the best development solutions and new features
• Participating in technical specification work
• Creating and producing unit tests
• Debugging production issues
• Promoting best development practices through code reviews and documentation

Your Future Team:

The Tech team comprises 15 members including:

• David S, our CTO and Stéphane, our Head of Engineering
• Kamil and Jean-Loup, our Engineering manager, are leading Developer Squad (you will report to one of them)
• 8 Developers
• A Data Architect, a Cloud Architect and a devOps
• A 3-member Product team

About You:

• Ideally, you have a master's or Ph.D. degree in computer science, engineering, or applied mathematics.
• You have a background focused on back-end development with at least 4 to 7 years of experience.
• You are proficient in Go development (with 2 years of experience in your career).
• You speak English fluently.
• You demonstrate autonomy in managing tasks and act as a problem solver.
• You are open to constructive feedback, values continuous learning, and actively contributes to a collaborative team environment.
• You are motivated by finance applications and what crypto can bring to them.

Recruitment Process:

• Initial HR screening call with Sandra, Head of People and Culture (45 minutes, video)
• Technical test (to be prepared on your own within 2 hours)
• Debrief interview with Kamil or Jean-Loup, Engineering Manager and future manager and one team member (Stephane optional) (1 hour)
• Interview with David, our CTO (30 minutes, video)

Lastly, Salary and Benefits of Joining Us:

• Fixed compensation ranging between €52,000 and €61,000
• Participation in Fipto's success through BSPCE (equity participation plan)
• RTT rest days (8 to 12 days per year)
